Question on decreasing-end of a row?

In the instructions it says to yarn over 3 times, yarn over and go through 2 loops twice and then you say crochet off is that yarn over and then go through the last 3 loops on the hook? It looks about right I can't seem to do it as tight as the other stitches. Txs

When you crochet the dtr, I always hold it with my fingers and pull it a little to the side. This way I don't pull out the two loops from the incompleate dc and the final stitch through the 3 loops is nice and tight.

Thanks.
I like your technique better than ending the row and then slip-stitching in to decrease.

Hi Marguerite,

The Little Hearts Doily Crochet-Along works the Little Hearts Doily. The instructions in the crochet-Along are what we offer to crochet the doily -- step by step. It is not presented separately.

Hardy
