Well I'm sorry to say I'm very slow. Part of this is due to not having the time I need and part is due to having to rip it out several times because of mistakes. Anyway I have completed lesson 2 and the Delta Blossom coaster. I think the stitching is just beautiful and I will complete all six lessons even if it takes a year (lol). At least I have learned to follow the chart and not rely on the written instructions, so this is a big help. Thank you for offering instruction on this wonderful crochet.

Don't be discouraged. I am an 81 year old accomplished crocheter, but I, too, had to tear out and redo row after row because of small errors. Since I live alone with my cat, I have plenty of time and finished the entire Star Jasmine Doily and it was worth the extra effort. I sent the photo in to Hardy, but have had no comment from them.

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I am still no further along. I guess I just have two many things going; one of which is trying to record home movies and put them on dvds for my family. But I will get back to it one of these days and probably have to start all over once I do because I'll probably forget everything I learned. I AM 74 year old and live with my husband, cat, and dog, all of which keep me hopping. I have been crocheting for a long time, too, but want to try new things whenever I can My favorite things to do are doilies and afghans.
