I haven't crocheted in a long time so please excuse my ignorance here...I'm just starting this beauitiful tablecloth & I'm confused about starting Row 1. The directions say to ch3 to use as my first dc. How many chains from the hook should I count before inserting that dc. I'm trying to make that first open mesh on Row 1.
I just need instructions of how to start Row1 after ch 874. Thanks in advance for any replies.
