Hi Kathleen,
Well according to your second test swatch, the full size of the doily should be just under 15 inches, not 19 inches.
I can only think of 2 reasons why this might be.
1) Your initial chain is incorrect and you have more than 127 stitches.
2) Your guage is different from what you used when making the second test swatch. You may have been paying a lot more attention to how you were crocheting since this was the second test and now that it is over you have loosened your crocheting again.
For the first cause, just go back and count your stitches or do it again.
For the second cause, you may want to pay special attention to your work while working on this doily. From my experiance you just can't crochet loosly in thread. As you pull your hook through you will want to feel the thread (It's almost like feeling a very slight pop as you pull through) but not so tight that you have to press in order to put the hook into a stitch.
An example of guage, my test swatch of 10x10 is approx 2 3/4 inches square using a size 6 hook. A chain of 127 stitches is approximately 13 inches.
Anyway, these are possible causes to the problem you mention. Hope it helps.
As far as the web site, I presonally don't see any problems with the layout of the lessons. They've been extremely easy for me to follow.
