I am waiting for the other lesson on Delta Crochet. I love this first lesson. I am sitting on pin and needle until the next one start. I suggest that everyone try it. The part I like most is so far it is not hard. I did my first one not reading the direction. I did the second one with dircetion. I did make some mistake on my own however I remember them. I had problem reading the pattern on the chain, once I made the four chain I didn't triple in the same stitch. I made eight chain in the begging. Well enough, I could go on and on about this type of crochet.

Great pattern and class Hardy! The directions are clear and easy to go by. The United States definitely gained an asset when you moved here in 1995 from Fuerstenberg. Your Mother did a great job teaching you the fine art of crochet!

Oh deary me!!! I thought I was going so well. I mastered the little 'puff' ornament with no problems and then I tackled the Blossom Ornament. I can do the blossoms fine too but when I reached round 3 I found I only had 5 instead of 6. I had gone wrong on round 1 and only done 5 tr instead of the 6!! So it's back to the 'frogging' board, or should that be the 'drawing' board. lol

Hi Jacqui,

It's not to bad. The Ornamnets and coasters are pretty small, so you don't have to frogg to much. It's more important that you learned how to make the blossoms.

I finished the Blossom ornament and have started the blossom doily. So far it's very pretty and I'm not having any problems with it. It does take some concentration though.

I am crocheting the short rows (13-17) of the star jasmine doily and I have a question re. row 16. On the graph at the beg. of row 16 you do the 4 chain, but then there isn't a tr into the row 15, you go straight into the blossom. Is this right?
Thanks
Jacqui
