Urgent Help Needed!

I am really stuck on row 15 of the large florabunda doily. On row #14, I chained 9 about the lacet stitch on row 13. Now I am on row #15 and I do not understand how I am suppose to put a lacet stitch on top of the chain 9. I hope this makes sense. I do not want to fall behind when the new assignments come out tomorrow. Am I overlooking something? Help please!

Hi Joan,
There is no ch 9 in round 14 over the Lacet Stitch, it's ch 5. Then in round 15 you work over the Lacet stitch. Ch 3, sc into ch#3 of the ch 5, ch3, dc on top of dc fron Lacet stitch in round 14. Look at the Chart of Round 15.
I am sorry, but if you crocheted ch 9 in round 14 you need to go back and crochet round 14 again.

Do not know how to work behind a previous shell pattern round. This is a cap and begins with 84 ch and should end with 84 ch. I have tried over 40 times to do this but to no avail...
