How does the Crochet-Along work?
In 6 step-by-step lessons, you can Crochet the Butterfly Doily with Linen Center.
Join us on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday (over two weeks) as we offer the Filet Crochet instructions for the next
few rows of these Patterns. Access and print the Lessons at your leisure. You have a few weeks after the
Crochet-Along to print all lessons. If you need longer, just let us know.
Is this hard? We rate this class Intermediate - Advanced.
But, we think it's easier than it looks.
The Zweigart Linen we offer is pre-fabricated with the holes ready for you to Crochet directly
into. No sewing skills are required. This is the easiest and recommended method. However, you don't have to
use our Linen Center. We'll give you tips on how to attach your own linen.
In the first 2 lessons, we will make the gauge and practice the basic Filet Crochet techniques
by making the practice gauge Coaster and Small Butterfly Doily (without Linen) in Thread #20.
Lessons 3-6 will build upon the basics and Crochet the Butterfly Doily with Linen Center. You will learn how to
attach the thread to the Linen Center and how to Crochet in Rounds.
